St Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub

Today I’m going to be telling you all about the amazing St Ives Green Tea Scrub. I have been completely converted since I started using this scrub, I now refuse to use anything else because other exfoliating facial scrubs just don’t seem to compare.

The Greasy Girl's Guide to Oils

Oils, oils, oils! It seems like oils are all the rage in the beauty world right now. They seem to have a lengthy list of wondrous properties from taming frizzy hair to banishing stretch marks. I am one of those people cursed with both oily skin and greasy hair. If left alone, I would probably become the world’s best oil producing resource and solve all the world’s energy problems. For a very long time, I was terrified that using oils would leave me looking like the offspring of Severus Snape. However, after reading many a beauty blog, I managed to curb my fears and start to explore what the world of oils could do for me. I’ve got a little round-up of some of my favourite oils to share with you!

It's Video Time!

I have just arrived back in Brisbane after a fantastic weekend in Melbourne catching up with a whole bunch of beauty bloggers, attending the Sparkling Soiree and of course, shopping! I also managed to squeeze in time to film a couple of videos with Mel aka Melissa Bubbles and Kat from Kitsch Snitch.

Clarisonic Cashmere Cleanse Facial Brush Head

A little while back I reviewed the amazing Clarisonic Mia (you can read the full review here). I fell head-over-heels in love with the Clarisonic, it’s become a staple in my skincare routine. I have been using the sensitive brush head since I purchased the Clarisonic but I was in Mecca Maxima recently and the lovely Lily steered me towards the new Cashmere Cleanse Brush Heads and I knew I had to have one!

NYX Butter Gloss

I have been nursing a slight obsession with NYX since I found out my local Target (which happens to be just across the road from work) stocks a lot of their products. It’s gotten to the stage where I often just “pop in” to see what’s available, often resulting in me leaving with a slightly emptier bank account. On one of these lunch time expeditions, I picked up one of the glorious Butter Glosses. The shelves were looking fairly dismal, with only a few items left on the shelf so I was very pleased with myself to nab the very last one in the shade Peach Cobbler

Sportsgirl's Pout About It! Lip Colours

Bright lips, who doesn’t love them? I for one am a HUGE fan of bold lips. It’s the perfect way to add zing to an otherwise “meh” face of makeup, also known as “I can’t be bothered” or “I needed to be out the door 10 minutes ago”. I was very pleased when I discovered that Sportsgirl had released their very own range of matte lip colours, in fact, their whole beauty range is on my wish list! But first things first, let’s get on to the Pout About It! range.

Maybelline Baby Skin

I have had a few requests asking about the Maybelline Baby Skin so what better to do than a full review? The full name of this product is actually the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser (what a mouthful!) but it’s usually known as just Baby Skin. Infuriatingly, it’s one of very few Maybelline items that isn’t available in Australia (boo!). Here’s what I thought of Baby Skin.

Bespoque Skin Care Red Carpet Event

On the last weekend in June, I was lucky enough to be invited to a Bespoque Skincare event in Brisbane. The original launch was in Sydney and I was very sad that I wasn't able to attend so I was really pleased to hear there was going to be a little launch in Brisbane too. It was held at a Terry White Chemists (where Bespoque is exclusively available) and it was a really nice morning, with the added bonus of a jar or my very own, custom made skincare!
