The KaBOOM! Cosmetics 2015 Outlook

Despite the fact that I still can't remember to write 2015 instead of 2014, we are well on our way into the New Year. I'm not one to make New Year's Resolutions but I wanted to give everyone a bit of a heads up on what to expect with KaBOOM! Cosmetics in 2015.

I try to steer well clear of the whole "new year, new me" crap but I have no issue with "new year, new content". Now that KaBOOM! is not so much a newborn and more a toddler, I feel like I can start experimenting with some different ideas and some new content and just generally finding my feet and my voice in the blogging world. You can look forward to more Shop My Stash type posts as I endeavour to love what I have more this year and not buy products willy nilly just because I can.

YouTube
I currently have a love/hate relationship with my YouTube channel. I do enjoy creating content but I sometimes feel like I have the personality of a loaf of bread on camera. I can assure you that this is not the case in reality but I have trouble translating my personality onto the screen. I realise that I'm never going to be a YouTube star *sigh* but that doesn't mean that I can't have a fun, informative and interactive YouTube channel.

As I said, KaBOOM! Cosmetics is no longer a newborn and as I've started to venture out into the beauty blogger playground, I've started to make a lot of new friends. I'd like to start to feature a few more of those people here because a) I really love discovering new bloggers and b) there are a lot of ladies out there who deserve a LOT more recognition than they get. 2015 will bring a lot of fresh new faces to KaBOOM! as my little blog starts to make friends.

My voice

Since starting up KaBOOM! I have found it difficult to make my voice heard in the almost endless ocean of beauty bloggers. I love writing this blog but I sometimes feel like all my hard work (because yes, it does take a lot of effort to write/photograph/edit/publish a post or video) gets lost and my voice is just a whisper in a room full of yellers. I hope that in 2015, I can bring you more content that shows my voice and who I really am. Not that I'm ever anything but 100% honest but I often do feel stuck in a rut where I resort to writing less than inspired posts. I want 2015 to be the year my voice is heard!

This is a bit of a change from my regular posts but that's the 2015 forecast for KaBOOM! Cosmetics. I'm always on the lookout for new ideas so if you are a regular reader or even if you've just stopped by for the first time, I would for you to leave a comment letting me know what you want to see more of in 2015.
